Kimberly Schafer

The best thing you'll ever build is yourself.

SERIOUS ILLNESS AT 26.
A CAREER BUILT OVER 33 YEARS.
THREE PATENTS AT 60.

The steps were small. The distance was not.

What is Culture of One?

It’s not about going it alone. It’s about knowing yourself so fully that everything you build — every role you step into, every team you join, every relationship you invest in — is grounded in something real.

Most of us spend decades building toward what others expect. Culture of One is the invitation to stop — and build toward yourself instead.

About Kimberly

Kimberly Schafer spent 33 years in medical research administration at UC San Diego before doing what most people only talk about: she started over.

In her early 50s she conceived an invention at a nail salon. By 60 she held three U.S. patents — and she was just getting started.

Culture of One is about self-authorship, not isolation

Persistence is a strategy

Not a feeling — you don't wait to feel ready; you act anyway
